Year 7 students visit Lewisham Islamic Centre
Year 7 students enjoyed a visit to a local place of worship on Tuesday 11th October. This educational experience was enjoyed very much by all, as students and staff were able to learn about the mosque and its community purpose. Children learnt about many aspects of Islamic culture as part of their personal development. The visit enabled students to gain a stronger understanding of religious beliefs, to learn how to respect different places of worship and to participate in activities which can help improve understanding.
