KS2 visited Chislehurst Caves for their reward trip on 5th April 2019
The children enjoyed learning about and exploring the series of manmade tunnels covering some 22 miles which were mined for flint.  During WW1 the mines were used to store ammunition and as air raid shelters during WW2.
