Students from Orpington Campus enjoyed a rewards trip to Chessington Amusement Park.
Throughout the year students at Bromley Beacon Orpington Campus have the opportunity to enjoy trips as a reward for hard work, good attendance and earning commendations.
The reward trip for the last half term was to Chessington Amusement Park.
A fun day for all
Students boarded the school buses full of excitement and anticipation for the day ahead. The trip to Chessington was smooth and students spent the time talking with friends about what they were going to do once they got there. Upon arrival, armed with warm jackets, packed lunches and some spending money, the students exited the buses in their designated groups and headed for the park entrance.
What do we do first?
The first thing to do was to grab some maps of the park so some strategic decisions could be made about what to do first. Rides? Food? Rides? Animal enclosures? Food? Rides? RIdes?
Once everyone was in agreement, each group headed off to explore the park and enjoy the sights and experiences. Rollercoasters, thrill rides and bumper cars were but a few of the favourite rides. Sometimes several times in a row! Lunch, sweets and drinks topped off a fun filled day.
