BBAO launches Children's University

In October BBAO launched Children's university which has tied in with our school communities. Each pupil has received a children's university passport. Students that exceed expectations in adding to a community feel and helping out the school outside of the classroom will receive hours within their passport, we are currently working on more ways at BBAO so that there are further opportunities for students to receive hours. Children's university provide graduations for when certain thresholds are met, the first being 30 hours. At graduation students will receive certificates which are acknowledged by places of further education such as colleges and many apprenticeship schemes, as well as entertainment and times to celebrate with family, friends and schools as one.   Our goal is for our younger students to take their passport through school life meaning within a few years students are able to reach the highest points of the Children's University ladder.
